The temple of the sun is located in the heart of the Eastern Sector and was a highly protected place where only the Incas and priests had access, normal people made their ceremonies in public places like Machu Picchu or Cuzco. There are two windows and it's believed that at the time of the incas, they had gold.The construction follows Inca's arquitecture, that is: putting stones together in such a perfect way that there get almost without holes between them and matching almost perfectly. At the center of the temple there is an altar of carved stone that was used to make several ceremonies to praise the Sun. The Incas believed that the future could be predicted analizing dead animals.
